KatHO NRW Münster

The Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Münster (KatHO NRW) is specialized in social sciences with degree programmes in social work, special education, social management, supervision and counselling.

With its about 900 students KatHO NRW Münster is not too big, thus you can quickly make friends and feel at home. A new building with a state-of-the-art lecture hall and several seminar rooms offer perfect study conditions.

Our international programme

As an international student you will learn alongside with our local students and be part of our small family campus. The study programme helps you to gain knowledge, skills and experiences in international social work – in theory as well as in practical training. Courses in 2019 are for example “Child welfare and child protection in international comparison”, “Social skills for transcultural Social Work” or “Domestic violence“.

Within the programme, you can obtain up to 30 ECTS. The seminar is held in English.

Student life in Münster

Our campus is located right in the city center of Münster which is a city full of life and young people. It is vital, international and characterised by its many students – you’ll experience a real “feel-good atmosphere”. Highlights are different festivities around the harbor, the old town center and a variety of museums, theaters and concert halls.
